In order to reinforce students’ patriotism consciousness and construct the atmosphere of ‘scholarly campus’, on the afternoon of 16th March, at the Lecture Hall, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High Department held the patriotism reading education speech competition with the theme of ‘It Takes 100 Years To Chase Dreams To Realize A Well-Off Society In An All-Round Way’. The judges were Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong, Division Chairman, group leaders of the Chinese Teaching& Research Group in addition to leaders in the Lesson Preparation Group.
To begin with, 21 contestants, full of spirit and energy, participated in the speech contest. They stuck closely to the subject and used vivid language to express their understanding on the reading education activity as well as their feelings towards the grand event.
In addition, the competition not only fully demonstrated the high-spirited mental outlook and solid speech expertise of the candidates, but also fully reflected the achievements obtained by the Senior High Division with regard to the extensive implementation of the reading education activity with the theme of ‘It Takes 100 Years To Chase Dreams To Realize A Well-Off Society In An All-Round Way’.
In conclusion, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High Section always managed to carry out the morality education well, enhanced students’ moral and aesthetic education, steadily boosted the quality-oriented education and enabled students to give play to their talent and skills as well as elevated their self-quality by means of essay, blackboard newspaper and speech contests. In the meantime, the Senior High Division provided students with intellectual impetus to cultivate, fulfill the socialist core values and realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
